Book 'em, Danno

This is a pretty scary trend - we've reached an incarceration rate in this country that tops China and Russia, where 1 out of every 100 adults is in prison. Five states in the US spend more on their prisons than they do on higher education. Might there be a correlation??

Really dating yourself there with the "Book 'em Danno" reference. I bet a lot of your younger readers have no idea what you are talking about. Luckily I was raised by the TV and was a huge fan. Mo

Oh please, everybody knows "book 'em Danno." In fact, the current term for the police is "5-0." So in fact, I might be totally in tune with the current generation. Yep, I'm hip to their groove.

That's right you are such a hipster. . . Today I had to explain to that guy I am married to the concept of "High School Musical". Clearly he is not nearly as hip as you and I.

I'll bet he doesn't even know there's now a "High School Musical 2." What a troglodyte!

ahhh, pardon me, but all you explained was that you continually must sing along with 5 year olds. I don't recall a 'concept' being involved, much less anything as 'hip' as book 'em danno or 5-0

You two have to stop this infernal cross-continental trans-Atlantic bickering. It's hurting the children.

I agree with Yorke - never ever can High School Musical hope to compete with Jack Lord's ascots or cemented-in-place hairdo. Never.

Much less the theme song! Now the unofficial fight song of the U. of Hawaii

Please note however...coming back to Mo's original comment -- that no one under 40 has jumped into this conversation ;-) She might be onto something.
