Mmmmm Mmmmm Good (Take 2)

Back from another tasty dinner at Trios. This time I went with a guest speaker - every year the Provost's office sponsors a "Distinguished Woman Speaker" - this year it was African-Americanist Professor Hortense Spillers, Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Professor of English at Vanderbilt University. It was great - I met several new faculty, and both the food and the conversation were terrific. 4.5 hours after we began we had to part company because the restaurant was closing!
