Fun Easter afternoon! Donna G. and I went to Max and Nancy's for dinner, featuring fun company and Randy C's exceptional leg of lamb. Culminating with the traditional lamb cake beheading. This year also featured a new addition, the lamb butter - tho' no one was willing to behead it.

That cake is amazing - I think it needs to go on Jaime's favorite cake blog!
Jaime has a cake blog??
You guys lived here for 4 years and never had a lamb cake for Easter?? They proliferate at every grocery store this time of year.
I've always wanted a lamb cake. Mo didn't seem very enthusiastic.
She's such a kill-joy. No lamb cake, how do you put up with it??
I don't have a cake blog -- it's a blog called "Cake Wrecks" and has some pretty funny stuff on it. It's http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/
I have to say that we never had lamb cakes - we always had rabbit cakes at my Grandma's house. My cousin and I always got to pull the ears out (one each) and lick them.
Sad but true.
That explains a lot, somehow...
Just think how many lamb cakes could be purchased with the cake grant...
