Al Gore just won an Emmy for his pioneering work bringing open formats to the internet. Pretty cool. An Oscar and an Emmy -- if he can sing, look out Tonys. Maybe a Pulitzer next??And Stephen Colbert just lost to Tony Bennett. Last year it was a Barry Manilow special. Should make for a fun time on the Colbert Report tomorrow night.
Shame they repeatedly overlook some of the best shows on TV however. I like "Boston Legal" but come on, "The Wire" and "Battlestar Galactica" needed to be on the program. And Ricky Gervais should've cleaned up in every comedy category. Just one woman's unprofessional opinion...
