This is a scary one. A way to respond is included in the article. I've been a bit out of touch with the news since getting back, has this story appeared elsewhere? You'd hope that if it's true, it would be plastered all over the internet.

Turns out Zahi Hawass - who now apparently considers himself an expert osteologist in addition to his many other claimed skills - is supporting Akhenaten. I'm gonna go with Kemp and Rose on this one...

I was left wondering if they looked at other blue-eyed primates, birds, cats, fish, etc. And is this a single gene trait? Plus, is variation in melanin of no selective advantage (positive or negative)?
