A former student (Jessica) coordinates an educational module about Antarctica, and one of my pictures is on the cover of this month's issue. It's one of my favorite non-penguin pictures, showing the ice layers at a volcano on one of the South Shetland islands. It's a fun site (with obvious good taste in graphic material, to boot ;-).
