Super-duper-delegates ??

I don't pretend to understand who came up with the idea of "Superdelegates" or more importantly, why. But even more confusing was tonight's report by NBC News that there are 452.5 superdelegates left (of which Obama needs 151).

How do you get half a delegate?? Unborn child? Someone with dual citizenship? Vampire/werewolf? Thawed Neandertal? Undead? Are not all superdelegates created equal??
