New Job

Spent the morning doing phone interviews for our new biological anthropology position. Some were very good, some not so much. I guess that's par for the course. It is nice to see some excellent candidates on the list, it's going to be a hard decision I think...

ANTARCTICA FUN FACTS -- Penguins are widely distributed throughout the Southern Hemisphere – Africa, the Galapagos Islands, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and yes, Antarctica. The name originally meant 'fat one' in spanish/portuguese, and may come from either the Welsh 'pen gwyn' (white head), from the Latin 'pinguis' (fat) or from a corruption of 'pin-wing' (pinioned wings). Many parts of Antarctica have never been explored, so the precise number of penguins is unknown.
